I can't believe I forgot to post these pictures. A couple weeks ago we got an unusual amount of rain and the kids couldn't pass up the opportunity to play in it. Our storms are usually accompanied by lots of lightening and thunder so it was nice to have a gentle storm of just rain.
The kids ran and biked and even played with the lovely worms that were enjoying the rain also. My girls love worms and would have a pet worm if I let them. Bleck! Nicholas enjoyed the big pond of water in the flower beds and splashed his little heart out. It was fun watching them enjoy nature and not care an ounce that they were soaking through.
The highlight came at the end when they dried off and got nice cups of hot chocolate. It was a great day!

We loved the rain too! Not only for the fun, but the lower water bill too! :) The grass has never looked better. We have nothing scheduled on Friday, so we'd love to get together. Give me a call to let me know what you need and when!

graicee and halen always want to play in the rain and puddles...its usually drip..drip..drop..done, no more rain, one stomp in the mini puddle and in we go..they would love this!
