Well Nathaniel got the privilege of sitting outside of Wal Mart today to try and sell the puppies. He really didn't want to go but he did it. Ok I bribed him a little with keeping some of the money for himself. :) He spent two and a half hours out there and sold 3 puppies. Add that to the two that friends got and we only have 5 left. We have one guy that is going to call on Monday to possible take one and another guy that is building a dog run before he gets the puppy. So we are crossing our fingers that those two will go on Monday or Tuesday.
Mudge was the first to go. A little girl about 8 bought him with her birthday money. The girls were happy that he is with another little girl. Next went Tabby and then Fudge. The girls were happy that some came back. Of course the first thing Madeleine said was "we get to keep all of these" and I said "NO"! But they are happy that they have a few more days to play with them.
If anyone wants to see them you better hurry.

I'm glad yall found a home for tabby! I'm sorry it wasnt mine!
Good luck on the rest of them!
Brings back so many memories of my childhood. My dad refused to get our dog spaid because he thought she needed to "fill the measure of her creation". So she was the neighborhood vixen and we were always sitting outside a grocery store trying to unload her puppies. Each one, that we had named and loved, was heartbreaking to say goodbye to.
Good luck finding homes for the rest---and comforting heartbroken kids. What an adventure!
